Kynna's Corner

Humankind has through the passage of time had the companionship of other creatures. Primal knowledge was passed from creature to man. This site promotes the ethical treatment of all living creatures. Creatures are the guardians of pre-human memory. This is the reason why Shaman, Wicca's and others have animal helpers when dealing with the Innerworld. This Innerworld is the world of intuition. Animals are important teachers that patiently endure and reveal the truths which humankind ignores. Animals remind us that each life-form has its purpose in the universe, that certain memories and wisdoms are in danger of being lost forever. We must treat animals ethically in order to reconnect with the enchantment of life which feed our very souls.

This is the story of Kynna, a Jack Russell Terrier. She was born September 26, 1992. There is quite a special story of how her Mommy found her. One day she was out walking at the local quarry when a little dog came running up to her -- and it was love at first sight. She asked the man who was walking with this little dog, "What kind of dog is that?" Well, it turned out it was a Jack Russell Terrier. Her mommy called the Kennel Association only to be told, "Oh, those little devils -- that breed is not recognized by the Kennel Club." One good thing did happen, though: she was given the name of a man who breeds Golden Labs -- and bingo, Jack Russell Terriers. The very next day her Mommy called and found out that the breeder had Jack Russell Terrier pups due in a couple of weeks. Destiny called out.

When she was four weeks old, her Mommy went out to see her. She had one brother and her Mommy fell in love and almost bought them both. This is a picture of Kynna and her brother that day. The man is holding them in his big hands. Kynna is on the left.

Kynna was just what her Mommy needed. They were made for each other. They took long walks in the park and when Kynna got tired, her Mommy just tucked her in her coat.

(pic) Kynna loved her new home, and her Mommy loves to take pictures of her. Her Mommy is an amateur Wild Life Photographer. This is the picture her Mommy put on all her Yuletide pictures she sent to all of her loved ones that year.

Now, Kynna is no regular dog; she is a Jack Russell Terrier. Whatever her Mommy does, she has to do also. One thing her Mommy is is a dancer. When Mommy dances -- you guessed it -- Kynna has to dance with her. This is a picture of Kynna dancing with her Mommy.

(pic) Every night before bed, Kynna gets her teeth brushed. Now being a dog, Kynna wasn't too sure about this so her Mommy decided to wrap her up in a towel. This is a picture of how nice Kynna's teeth look after the brushing and how happy she was that her Mommy did it.

Kynna and her Mommy had tons of fun this summer. Kynna and her Mommy stayed cool in the pool. This is a picture Kynna floating on her air mattress in the pool and, of course, let's not forget the sun glasses.

(pic) Kynna and her Mommy are looking forward to Halloween. Kynna, being a Jack Russell Terrier of course, (you guessed it again) already has her costume ready. Now whether her Mommy lets her eat any candy is another story altogether.
